Aro Metal specializes in the stamping and assembly of up to 3 components, from dissimilar materials, in a single progressive tool. As a leader in heatsink assemblies, Aro Metal developed the technology to stamp and attach a ground terminal (from a solderable material) to the heatsink in a progressive die with no secondary operations. We feed up to 3 strips into the same tool, yielding 2 and 3 piece assemblies, in a very cost-effective process. We can feed loose components into progressive tooling eliminating the need for costly labor operations.

In-line tapping of high-volume, low-cost terminals
Aro Metal Stamping developed technology that links two stamping presses and a tapping machine, enabling us to thread holes in a strip prior to feeding it into a progressive die. The result is high-quality threaded terminals and similar parts, priced very competitively. We produce threaded terminals at rates up to 320 per minute. Thread locks can be formed for wire-ready applications.
